The history of the best pizza - and the largest chain of pizza restaurants - in the world began in 1958, with the vision and the passion of two brothers, from Wichita, Kansas. Being students, they had to borrow $600 from their mother to open a tiny pizza restaurant: the very first Pizza Hut.
Fifty years later, with more than 12,000 restaurants in more than 90 countries, Pizza Hut is the first choice for pizza lovers and still remains true to its founding beliefs: that because we love pizza and care about our customers, we have a responsibility to offer great products and service!
It is a good philosophy. And in Greece - a country that knows a thing or two about philosophy - it is no surprise to see that Pizza Hut has a strong presence, with 17 restaurants in Athens.
